Boston, Mass. —
Ori, Inc., the leading creator of robotic interiors, today announced a limited consumer pilot of the Ori Studio Suite, which will be available for consumers to demo at West Elm Fenway through October 30. The Ori Studio Suite, which elegantly and effortlessly transforms a studio apartment into a bedroom, office, full-size living room, or walk-in-closet, on demand, will be available on a limited basis for purchase or lease by Boston-area residents directly through Ori.
“Since launching our commercial units in May, we’ve been working with dozens of developers across the U.S. to create Ori-equipped apartments for their buildings,” said Hasier Larrea, CEO of Ori. “But we’re constantly asked about when they’ll be available to consumers. As a first step in this direction, we’re thrilled to be able to demo the Ori Studio Suite to consumers at West Elm’s Fenway store. West Elm’s focus on providing shoppers with high-quality, beautiful products for modern living made them a natural choice for our first direct-to-consumer pilot.”
Every Ori Studio Suite features a retractable bed, closet, abundant storage space, a full media console, and can be controlled with voice activation using Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. Production units are UL safety certified and can switch to manual mode, allowing for the effortless movement of the system in the event of a power outage.
During this limited pilot at West Elm Fenway, the Ori Studio Suite will available to Boston area residents for purchase or lease. A member of Ori’s team will be available to all Boston-area residents who wish to learn more about living with an Ori Studio Suite. West Elm Fenway is located at 160 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215 (tel: (617) 450-9500), and is open 10am-8pm Monday-Saturday, and 12-7pm on Sunday.
